About Us

It all started with my father, António, more than 50 years ago.

The preparation of cork, through classification by caliber and quality, was and continues to be our company's main activity.

Through the implementation of good practices throughout the production process, from the selection of suppliers with the best environmental practices in the forest, to production in the factory and to the end customer.

The ChapadaEcoCork brand began to develop in 2020, also in the south of Portugal, seeking to contribute to the sustainability of our planet, through the design of new products in natural cork, in our atelier (garage).

With a long experience acquired over many years, we developed products in natural cork, handmade.

Our focus is on providing an environmentally friendly alternative that only natural cork can provide, due to its intrinsic characteristics that no other product can match.

So, I'm the younger generation and my name is Luís.

Working with a unique material such as cork, we seek to create products with an attractive design that are useful in our daily lives.

A range of uniquely designed products and limited editions made from high quality rare cork with many years of growth will also be available soon.

All cork products are handmade, through the turning and/or routing process.

The packaging we use is made of Kraft paper and whenever possible we reuse the packaging we have available.

We are always available to clarify any doubts.

Designing a specific product, tailored to the customer, is also possible. Just send the design or sketch of what you want and we will analyze it carefully.
